Corey is a graduate of Texas Lutheran University where he majored in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. Corey has been involved in youth advocacy work for the past 15 years and he has dedicated his life to serving and empowering people to become their best self. Corey, has worked with various people from different backgrounds, including, youth in the foster care system, juvenile detention and teen parents. CJ the Empowerment Speaker, as he is better known, has spoken at numerous conferences throughout the U.S., and taken the world by storm with his high intensity and creative style giving presentation on self-improvement, development and empowerment.

Corey is the Pastor and founder of Generation of Truth Church in Austin, TX. CJ is a public figure, Certified Empowerment Speaker, Life Coach and he has impacted people across the globe with his messages. CJ is featured on the #1 motivational speaking app in the nation (Pep Talk), and he is also the author of the book “Surviving a Christian Marriage: A Quick Guide to Marital Bliss. CJ was awarded the Healthy Teen Network Outstanding Father of the Year award and was quoted in an article in the Huffington Post.
